Summer dehydrates the body. Our health takes a beating. To replenish the lost nutrients, one has to drink lots of fluids. Choose those drinks that have Vitamin C since this helps augment our health. It is among the essential nutrients our body needs to perform at its peak.
Drinks made of citrus fruits like lemon and oranges are in demand during the summer season. Best way to drink this is to make a juice with one or two lemons (or one orange) and have it after chilling.
Avoid juices that have been stored for long periods or buying your drink from the shops as they use artificial sweeteners. If you do not have a lemon plant in your garden, stock up this fruit in your refrigerator and make fresh fruit juice whenever you want.

It was only two or three days before that I was wishing for winter. Or was it last summer?
Now it is here, the days when I begin to count for winter to come back again.
Summer is definitely here. Clouds are fast disappearing and until the monsoon sets in, the day will become hotter and hotter.
It is time to drink coconut water. Lots and lots of it, keeps the body cool.
It is lovely feeling to feel the summer air. I know that soon there will sweat and that I will begin to long for winter. But that is still a few days away.

Come to think about it, there is nothing that I like more than summertime. Though, in summer I will often harp about the winter. This trend carries on throughout the year. It is natural.
Nature has packed up for the season. This season ended well. There are many victors and many who played and lost.
